The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. pursuant to the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rule 5.16.5:

Reference is made to Company Announcement No 315 issued on 4 August 2017 whereby Bank of Valletta p.l.c. (the Bank) had announced the appointment of two (2) Executive Directors. This appointment was made subject to the attainment of regulatory approval.

The Bank further announces that regulatory approval has now been obtained from the European Central Bank and the Malta Financial Services Authority for the appointment of Mario Mallia and Miguel Borg as Executive Directors of the Company.

Mr Mallia and Mr Borg have been appointed with effect from 27 July 2017.

The Board of Directors of the Bank is therefore composed of the following:
