COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT

The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. pursuant to the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rules:

The Bank (the Vendor) has agreed with Mark Andrew Weingard, holder of Maltese identity card number 0103964A, (the Purchaser) to sell and transfer to the Purchaser nineteen million, seventyfive thousand, four hundred and two (19,075,402) ordinary shares in MIDI p.l.c. (the MIDI Shares) which shares represent 8.92% shareholding by the Vendor in MIDI p.l.c (the Company).

The transfer of the MIDI Shares took place on the 3 April 2017, by means of an Off Exchange transaction.

As a result of this transaction the Vendor has disposed of all its shareholding in the Company.
