The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. pursuant to the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rules:

Bank of Valletta p.l.c. (the Bank) hereby announces the appointment of the Bank's Chief Technology Officer Mr Joseph Agius as member of the Management Board.

Joseph Agius joined the Bank in October 1989 and has significant experience in the area of Information Technology. Throughout his career, Mr Agius has held a number of senior executive positions and he was appointed Chief Technology Officer in October 2014.

Mr Agius is also a non-executive director on the Board of the Malta Information Technology Agency.

Regulatory approval has already been obtained for this appointment.

There are no further matters requiring disclosure under Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.

Following this appointment, the Bank's Management Board will be composed of the following:
