Appointment of non-executive Director

Mr Winston V. Zahra has been appointed Director of International Hotel Investments p.l.c., effective from 9th June 2016, replacing Mr Michael Beckett.

Mr Zahra is the Chairman of the Island Hotels Group Holdings p.l.c. He was Managing Director of the IHG Group until 2009 and prior to 1987, he was the co-founder of one of the leading tourism-oriented companies in Malta.

Mr Zahra is CEO of The President's Trust and he has served on various boards and committees related to the tourism industry. He has also served as a board member of the Malta Council for Economic and Social Development. Mr. Zahra is also a director of Caritas and was a member of the Council of the University of Malta and Chairman of Volksbank Malta Limited. In 2008 Mr Zahra was awarded the National Order of Merit for his contribution to the tourism industry.

Mr Zahra, holder of ID Card No: 820340(M) resides at Il-Garra, Carmelo Pace Street, Iklin.

There are no matters concerning Mr Zahra which require disclosure under Listing Rule 5.20.5 to Listing Rule 5.20.9.
