Application for the post of CEO

Bank of Valletta p.l.c. hereby announces that the contract of the CEO expires on the 31 December 2015. In a Board meeting held today, Thursday 27 August 2015, the Board of Directors resolved to issue a call for application for the post of CEO for executives of the Bank as well as for external candidates.

An interviewing Board has been set up to make recommendations to the Board for a decision on the appointment of the CEO who will assume his or her responsibilities as from 1 January 2016. KPMG will act as observers to ensure objectivity throughout the process.

A further Company Announcement will be made as soon as the Board has decided on the appointment of the CEO.
