The Board of Directors of MaltaPost plc hereby announces that with reference to the Company Announcement dated 16th January 2013, the project to seek the appointment of a MaltaPost plc subsidiary as agent for Middlesea Insurance plc will not be pursued.

Nevertheless the Board of Directors of MaltaPost plc intends to pursue its project of cooperating with other parties in an insurance activity and will make further announcements at the appropriate time
