Interim Directors' Statement

The Board of Directors hereby announces that since the publication, on 24 April 2013, of its preliminary statement of annual results for the financial year ended 31 January 2013, no material events and/or transactions have taken place that would have an impact on the financial position of the Holding Company and its controlled undertakings, such that they would require specific mention, disclosure or announcement pursuant to the applicable Listing Rules.

The Group continues to operate in a highly competitive environment particularly in the food importation business. Group profitability during the first three months of the financial year compares favourably with that registered during the same period last year and with the group's targets for the same period. The Group maintains a healthy cash generation performance. Preparations are being made for a significant investment in a new beer packagaing hall aimed at further strenghtening the company's competitive edge and export market opportunities.

At the forthcoming Annual General Meeting to be held on 20 June 2013, a concept overview of the development of the land and buildings at the north facing facade of the brewery will be presented to the shareholders.
