The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. pursuant to the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rules:

The Board of Directors has today approved certain changes to the Bank's organisational structure and senior management responsibilities that require a Company Announcement pursuant to the Listing Rules.

Joseph M Camilleri, currently Chief Officer Human Resources will be assuming responsibilities as Chief Officer of a newly formed Strategy and Process Management Department. As Chief Officer of this Department, Joseph M Camilleri will be responsible for the strategic planning function of the Group and will, amongst others, be responsible to ensure the execution of strategies approved by the Board of Directors as well as their periodic updating for the purpose of ascertaining efficient and effective business processes.

Anthony Scicluna currently Chief Officer, Group Internal Audit will be assuming responsibilities as Chief Officer Human Resources.

The Board has also approved the appointment of Moira Falzon as Executive Head, Group Internal Audit. An accountant by profession, Moira Falzon joined the Bank in 1984 and she is currently Executive Head Finance. Moira Falzon resides at 92 Labour Avenue, Naxxar.

There are no matters concerning Moira Falzon requiring disclosure under Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.

These changes are subject to regulatory approval.
