Following the allotment of 30,000,000 bonus shares of a nominal value of €1.00 each fully paid up on the close of business on the 12 January 2012, Bank of Valletta p.l.c.'s issued and paid up capital increased to €270,000,000 divided into 270,000,000 ordinary shares with a nominal value of €1.00 each fully paid up. Consequently, as at 31 January 2012, the total number of voting rights has increased to 270,000,000 votes.

Bank of Valletta p.l.c. has an authorised share capital of €350,000,000 divided into 350,000,000 ordinary shares with a nominal value of €1.00 each.
