Closed proceedings against Krka Romania S.R.L.

According to the provisions of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange Rules and the applicable legislation, Krka, d. d., Novo mesto publishes as follows:

We hereby inform the interested public that the Romanian Anti-Corruption Directorate (Direcția Națională Anticorupție, DNA) has concluded the investigation of the alleged irregularities in conducting operations at Krka’s subsidiary, Krka Romania S.R.L.

Krka reported on alleged irregularities in its Romanian subsidiary in a public announcement of 17 January 2020, after the Romanian news portal the Libertatea was the first to publish about alleged irregularities. Following the news release, the Romanian DNA launched ex officio investigation of the alleged irregularities at Krka Romania S.R.L.

The investigation revealed that all promotional activities carried out by Krka Romania S.R.L. complied with the applicable legislation and good practice guidelines governing promotion of medicinal products in the EU and Romania. The DNA established no substantiated grounds for a suspected criminal offence by Krka Romania S.R.L. or its employees in marketing of medicinal products in Romania. DNA consequently closed the proceeding against Krka Romania S.R.L.

Krka has no knowledge of any appeal being lodged within the appeal term against the resolution passed by the DNA.

This notice is publicly available at the corporate web site www.krka.si from 3 June 2022 for the period of at least five (5) years.
