Unaudited Business Report of the Telekom Slovenije Group and Telekom Slovenije, d.d., for the Period between January and March 2023

Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and the valid legislation, Telekom Slovenije, d.d., Cigaletova 15, Ljubljana, hereby publishes the following notification:

At its 13th regular meeting on Wednesday, 10 May 2023, the Telekom Slovenije Supervisory Board reviewed Unaudited Business Report of the Telekom Slovenije Group and Telekom Slovenije, d.d., for the period between January and March 2023.

In the first three months of this year Telekom Slovenije Group generated EUR 163.2 million in sales revenue, which is 8% more than in the same period of 2022. Higher revenue for the period was achieved by all Group companies. Telekom Slovenije, d.d., is achieving growth in the wholesale market and in financial services, eHealth and insurance, with revenue from the sale of mobile devices also increasing. Between January and March 2023, Telekom Slovenije Group generated a total of EUR 164.1 million in operating revenue, which is 8% more than in the same period of 2022.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) and net profit are affected by the price of energy resources. Therefore, in the first three months of this year, Telekom Slovenije Group achieved EBITDA of EUR 54.2 million, which is EUR 2,6 million less than in the comparable period of 2022, but above plans. If the prices of energy resources remained at the 2022 level, EBITDA would be 3% higher than in the comparable period of 2022. The EBITDA-to-sales ratio at the Group level was 33.2%.

Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to EUR 14.0 million, which is above plans. If the prices of energy resources remained at the 2022 level, operating profit would be 13% higher than in the comparable period of 2022.

Following the calculation of corporate income tax with deferred taxes, the Telekom Slovenije Group completed the first three months of 2023 with a net profit of EUR 8.2 million which is above plans.

The announcement will also be available on the company’s website (www.telekom.si) for a period of at least 10 years.
