Audited annual report for 2023

In accordance with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange rules and applicable legislation, the company CINKARNA Celje, d.d., Kidričeva ulica 26, 3000 Celje is hereby publishing the following notice:

At its session on 17 April 2024, the Supervisory Board of Cinkarna Celje, d.d. approved the audited annual report of the company for 2023, together with the report of the independent auditor.

In 2023, we realized sales that were 22 percent lower than in 2022, which was mainly influenced by lower sales volumes and, to a lesser extent, lower average sales prices of titanium dioxide pigment. Net profit, taking into account the state aid funds received under the ZPGOPEK, reached EUR 12.7 million and is 71 percent less than in the comparable period of the previous year, when it reached EUR 43, EUR 4 million.

In 2023, we spent EUR 19.8 million on investments, the purchase of fixed assets, intangible fixed assets and replacement equipment. We invest in programs that show growth potential. With investments in production, we primarily pursue the goals of reducing operating costs, ensuring a profitable volume of volume production, and achieving higher quality, legislative compliance, and energy sustainability.

The report translated into English, enclosed hereto, is published in the official ESEF format pursuant to Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/815 and paragraph one of Article 134 of ZTFI-1.

The information will be published on 18 April 2024 on the company's website www.cinkarna.si and will be available for at least 5 years from the date of publication.
