COPENHAGEN, July 5th 2021: 5th Planet Games A/S (OAX: FIVEPG) games updates.

LEGO game and public funding:

5th Planet Games goes into production of LEGO® Themed Match 3 Puzzle Mobile Game with public funding.

The Berlin Studio has been approved for a subsidy funding by the German government related to the LEGO project. As a consequence, we are able to develop a better game.

Our Berlin-based 5th Planet Games GmbH will receive public funding through the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure of up to 43.20% of the actual development costs, and up to a maximum of a certain amount.

The plan is still to release the LEGO game in second half of 2022.

Tintin Match:

During the last 6 months our Berlin Studio has been working on optimizing metrics for the Tintin Match game to make it more competitive in the Match3 market, including working together with external experts to increase the organic reach through App Store Optimization. The game holds a good rating and receive good reviews from players.

However, we acknowledge that we have not been able to significantly improve the games key metrics related to retention and monetization. As a result of the limited organic reach and the modest global awareness of the IP, it has been decided to reduce the Tintin Match team to a smaller live ops team and reduce staff in Berlin with 5 employed.

Legacy Games:

Both Hugo Trollrace and Ronaldo Kick‘n’Run have now been through a technical update process which so far went well. Therefore, it has been decided to start a new legacy game process in order to re-launch the existing Super skater game to be a Hugo only IP based game. The aim is to launch Hugo Skater in August.

Casino Games:

The two new casino game projects in partnership with Play n’ GO are performing well and proceeding as planned. The new Hugo casino game is planned to be released in September and the Peter Snakebite casino Game is planned to be released end of October.

Our Vikings game is still in review. We expect to announce news about Vikings soon.
