COPENHAGEN, September 25th, 2019: 5th Planet Games A/S’ (OAX: FIVEPG) has today released the half-yearly financial report for H1 2019, with below key figures:

i)Revenue in H1 2019 was DKK 3.4m, up from DKK 2.7m in H1 2018. Revenue was primarily generated from the casino games as well as the original “Dawn of the Dragons”.

ii)Operating expenses amounts to DKK 14.4m in H1 2019 compared to DKK 16.1m in H1 2018. The reduction in OPEX is primarily driven by reduced marketing activities, the close-down of the UK based activities and savings on the share-based payment program.

iii)EBITDA before special items was a loss of DKK 11.4m in H1 2019 compared to a loss of DKK 13.5m in H1 2018

For 5th Planet Games, the primary focus in the first half of 2019 has been on the development of our two key titles, Dawn of the Dragons: Ascension, which was released on Kartridge on August 27th 2019, and the mobile game based on the Adventures of Tintin, which is scheduled for release in March 2020.

On top of Dawn of the Dragons: Ascension, we will have additional 2 game launches in 2H 2019, - Hugo’s Adventures (casino game) and the Doodle Jump sequel.
