Former CEO and Chairman Henrik Kølle invest DKK 2,000,000 in 5th Planet Games A/S

COPENHAGEN, May 23rd, 2019: 5th Planet Games A/S (OMX: FIVEPG) has received an investment into the company of additional DKK 2,000,000 from Aula Invest ApS which is fully owned by Henrik Kølle.

Henrik Kølle is the founder of 5th Planet Games A/S – previously known as Hugo Games A/S – as well as former CEO and former Chairman of the Board.

In April 2017, Henrik Kølle decided to leave the Board and later sell the majority of his shares. That decision has now been changed, and with his injection of additional DKK 2,000,000 into the company, he now holds more than 10% of the company's shares.

Mr. Kølle would like to emphasize that this agreement is a result of his firm belief that 5th Planet Games' is now beginning to harvest the benefits of the recent activities and the long term Company strategy of market consolidation – while at the same time delivering on the games currently in the 5th Planet Games pipeline.

One of them being the Dawn of the Dragons sequel from 5th Planet Games' Rocklin studio which is being released as a browser based game as well as a mobile game. Henrik Kølle believes that the 2018 merger with the Rocklin studio, who developed the successful Dawn of the Dragons IP and has grossed USD 28 million, is a recipe to be followed.

"There are of course no guarantees in this world, but I'm confident that building highly specialized studios with expert crews in Rocklin and Berlin is the right way to go when developing the games of tomorrow," says Henrik Kølle.

"Two things basically made my decision to increase my investment. First, I believe the present 5th Planet Games strategy is quite innovative and more solid than ever. Second, I believe the share price is at an attractive level."

The Capital Increase, has formally been executed through issuing convertible notes of DKK 2,000,000 with the right to subscribe for shares in the Company at 10 percent below the market value at the time of the conversion. This subscription is expected to happen later today.
