ARQ GROUP LTD (ASX: ARQ) Notice of Interim CEO’s shareholding

Further to the announcement of the appointment of an Interim CEO, Mr Tristan Sternson, on 24 September 2019, Arq Group today is advising the market of Mr Sternson’s holding in, and recent purchase of additional, ARQ shares.

At the date of his appointment, Mr Sternson had an existing holding through Mersey Corporation Pty Ltd ATF Mersey Property Trust of 945,780 Arq shares.

On 27 September 2019, Mr Sternson increased his holding in Arq shares with:

• (a) Wirral Corporation Pty Ltd ATF Wirral Trust purchasing 285,714 shares at 0.346 cents per share; and

• (b) Number Nine Super Pty Ltd ATF Number Nine Super Fund purchasing 38,193 shares at a price of 0.342 cents per share.

Mr Sternson said, “While there is no legal requirement for disclosure, I wanted to announce details of the holding and additional purchases in the interest of transparency. As the recently appointed Interim CEO, I wish to demonstrate to the market and my fellow shareholders that I am committed to Arq and confident in the company’s ability to overcome current market challenges and to achieve the Company’s future growth objectives.”

As at 11 October 2019 entities associated with or controlled by Mr Sternson, as set out above, hold a combined total of 1,269,687 shares.
