TIM: CLARIFICATIONS TO MEDIA SPECULATIONS

With regard to the recent news published by some press outlets, TIM clarifies that the proposed amendments to the Bylaws, including the broadening of corporate purpose, will be submitted for consideration by the Board of Directors at its May 23 meeting, when it will proceed to convene the Shareholders' Assembly for June 24. If approved, the change in corporate purpose will result in the right of withdrawal for those shareholders who did not concur with the approval of the resolution. The company will provide further information when the shareholders' meeting is called.
