Veidekke: To build Nordic Ecolabel homes in Stockholm for OBOS

Veidekke has been commissioned by OBOS Nya Hem to build new apartments and

rowhouses at Träkvista torg on Ekerö near Stockholm. The design and build

contract is valued at approximately SEK 119 million. The Brf Aroma project is

expected to be ready for occupancy in spring 2027.

The Brf Aroma location represents the best of two worlds - small town peace and

quiet in close proximity to Lake Mälaren, combined with good commuting options

with central Stockholm," says Sofia Ljungdahl, CEO of OBOS Nya Hem.

The Brf Aroma project, in which Veidekke has been involved from its early

stages, involves the construction of 42 new apartments and 4 townhouses spread

over three buildings of three to four storeys. The development will include

green courtyards, a new access road and two-level parking. The project will be

certified in accordance with the Nordic Ecolabel standard, which emphasises low

climate impact and energy consumption, and a good indoor environment.

The Brf Aroma project is part of a new zoning plan for Träkvista torg that

includes homes, nursing home, service facilities and a new town square - all in

close proximity to the nature areas of Lake Mälaren.

The contract is included in the Q2 2025 order book.
