## **Fitch conferma per ERG il rating BBB- con outlook stabile**

**Genova, 8 aprile 2025** – L'agenzia di rating Fitch Ratings ("Fitch") ha confermato per ERG S.p.A. un Long Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) di BBB- stable outlook ed un senior unsecured rating BBB-.

Fitch evidenzia che in uno scenario energetico e macroeconomico caratterizzato da una crescente volatilità, il rating riflette la solidità del modello di business del Gruppo e del suo portafoglio rinnovabile.

La conferma del rating valorizza il business profile "quasi regolato" del Gruppo, che prevede l'85- 90% dell'Ebitda stabilizzato attraverso tariffe governative e Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) di lungo termine, nonché la sua solidità finanziaria unita ad una selettiva politica di allocazione del capitale.

Il rating appena confermato trova il suo fondamento nelle linee guida strategiche definite per il periodo e recentemente presentate al mercato, che prevedono la crescita nell'eolico, nel solare e nel BESS, oltre che l'impegno di ERG nel mantenimento del rating Investment Grade.

Considerata la robustezza dei fondamentali e della generazione di cassa del Gruppo, nonostante le incertezze di breve periodo, Fitch ha rivisto moderatamente al rialzo la capacità di debito di ERG, misurata dall'indicatore "FFO Net leverage", la cui soglia di tolleranza nel medio termine passa dal precedente 4.4x all'attuale 4.5x.

## **Fitch affirms ERG's BBB- rating and stable outlook**

**Genoa, 8 April 2025** – Fitch Ratings ("Fitch") has affirmed ERG S.p.A.'s Long Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) at BBB-, with stable outlook, and senior unsecured rating at BBB-.

Fitch confirms that in an energy and macroeconomic scenario featuring increasing volatility, the rating reflects the solidity of the Group business model and visibility of its clean portfolio.

The affirmation appreciates the Group's "quasi-regulated" business profile, which provides for 85- 90% of EBITDA stabilized through government tariffs and long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), as well as its financial solidity enhanced by its selective capital allocation policy.

Furthermore, the affirmation positively acknowledges the strategic guidelines recently confirmed to the market, which provide for growth in wind, solar and BESS, as well as the commitment of ERG to maintaining the Investment Grade rating.

Given the prevalence of positive long-term trends over short-term uncertainties, and the strength of the Group's fundamentals and cash generation, Fitch has moderately revised upwards ERG's debt capacity, measured by the "FFO Net leverage" indicator, whose medium-term negative sensitivity has been raised from 4.4x to 4.5x.
