Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi di Bologna company informs that, with an Ordinance of the Emilia-Romagna Territorial Directorate, ENAC extended until March 28, 2026 the Ordinance 5/2023 of June 14, 2023, which, with subsequent extensions, provided for the reduction of night-time overflights (in the 11 p.m.- 06 a.m. time slot) over the City of Bologna.
This, considering the transition of Marconi to a "coordinated" Airport, assessed the positive results of the measures adopted to reduce the impacts of night-time overflights over the City of Bologna, and always without prejudice to essential needs related to the safety of flight operations.
The Aeroporto Marconi di Bologna company expresses satisfaction for the close cooperation of the various members of the Airport No-Noise Commission, which met last week to evaluate the extension of the 2023 Ordinance, and for the constant search for a balanced approach to these issues, in compliance with regulations and international best practices.
The commitment of the Bologna Airport company will continue with periodic updates and with the progressive implementation of its innovation and sustainability plans.
