**Schaeffler AG issues 1.15 billion euros in bonds**

Herzogenaurach | March 26, 2025 | Schaeffler AG successfully placed 1.15 billion euros in corporate bonds with international investors yesterday.

The transaction consists of two tranches:

-   550 million euros 4.250% bonds due April 1, 2028
-   600 million euros 5.375% bonds due April 1, 2031

Due to strong investor demand, the bonds were oversubscribed several times. The new bonds were issued under Schaeffler AG’s debt issuance program. The proceeds of the issuance will be used for general corporate and financing purposes.

Claus Bauer, CFO of Schaeffler AG, stated: “With this refinancing transaction, we are maintaining Schaeffler’s solid financial basis following the merger with Vitesco. In particular, the high demand for the 6-year tranche is testimony to the capital market’s trust and support in our strategic direction.”

The new bond issuance is scheduled to be settled on April 1, 2025. The bonds will be listed on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. Schaeffler had mandated ING, Mizuho, Santander, and UniCredit to act as active joint bookrunners for the placement.
