Subject: Decision of the KNF on the expiryof the decision requiring Santander Bank Polska S.A. to maintain anadditional own funds requirement at the level of Santander Bank PolskaGroup

The Management Board of Santander BankPolska S.A. ("Bank") hereby advises that on 11 March 2025 it received adecision from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority ("KNF") on theexpiry of the KNF's decision of 21 December 2023 (of which the Bankadvised in its current report no. 48/2023) and which required the Bankto cover, on a consolidated level, an additional own funds requirement(add-on) exceeding the value calculated in line with detailed principlesdefined in Regulation No 575/2013 by maintaining own funds to cover theadd-on to mitigate the risk arising from foreign currency mortgage loansto households at 0.013 p.p. above the total capital ratio referred to inArticle 92(1)(c) of the CRR, which should include at least 75% of Tier 1capital (which corresponds to a capital requirement of 0.010 p.p. abovethe Tier 1 capital ratio referred to in Article 92(1)(b) of RegulationNo 575/2013) and at least 56.25% of the Common Equity Tier 1 capital(which corresponds to a capital requirement of 0.007 p.p. above theCommon Equity Tier 1 capital ratio referred to in Article 92(1)(a) ofRegulation No 575/2013).

In view of the above, the Bank is notrequired, on a consolidated basis, to comply with the own fundrequirement arising from the expired decision of the KNF.
