Standard Chartered PLC confirms that regulatory approval has been received for Maria Ramos' appointment as Group Chair

Following its announcement on 4 February, Standard Chartered PLC (the "Company") confirms that regulatory approval has now been received from the PRA and FCA for Maria Ramos' appointment as Group Chair. 

Maria's application for her right to work in the UK remains on track and she is expected to assume her new role at the conclusion of the Company's 2025 Annual General Meeting on 8 May 2025, when José Viñals will retire from the Board.
