CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER APPOINTMENT

The Board of Chapel Down is delighted to announce the appointment of Lourens (Louan) Mouton as Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary and Director of Chapel Down*. Louan is a Chartered Accountant with significant experience in consumer goods organisations, including Group Finance Director at Fevertree Drinks plc and more recently as CFO and Board Director at Typhoo Tea Ltd. Prior to that, Louan held roles at Natural Capital Partners, BHP Billiton and Deloitte.

Louan will join Chapel Down on 31st March 2025, and will be formally appointed to the Board in early April 2025. Rob Smith (the outgoing Chief Financial Officer), will step down upon Louan joining the Board, which will be shortly after finalising and issuing Chapel Down's full year results, expected in early April 2025.

*Subject to completion of customary regulatory due diligence. A further announcement confirming the appointment of Lourens Mouton, disclosing information in respect of Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules, will be made prior to his formal appointment.
