First interim dividend for the year ending 31 August 2025

At the Annual General Meeting of International Biotechnology Trust plc (the "Company") held on 9 December 2024, shareholders approved the Company's dividend policy of making dividend payments, equivalent to 4% of the Company's net asset value as at the last day of the preceding financial year (31 August 2024), through two equal semi-annual distributions.

The Directors have declared the payment of a first interim dividend of 15.56 pence per ordinary share for the year ending 31 August 2025.

As at 6 December 2024, the latest practicable date prior to publication of this announcement, the interim dividend of 15.56 pence per share represents an annualised yield of 4.4% calculated with reference to the Company's closing share price of 700 pence that day.
