Exercise of Options, Director Dealing and Total Voting Rights

Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of products for the  aerospace, defence, space and telecoms infrastructure markets , announces that the Company has issued 277,665 new Ordinary Shares 0.1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") as a result of an exercise of options under the Company's ESOP scheme (the "Options").

Of this total exercise, Options over 110,397 Ordinary Shares were exercised by Michael Tyerman, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, who has also sold 15,625 Ordinary Shares in order to cover the exercise price of the option exercise, increasing Mr. Tyerman's beneficial holding to 734,663 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.3 per cent. of the Company's total issued share capital.

Application has been made for the 277,665 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. It is expected that the dealings in these new Ordinary Shares will commence on 9 September 2024. The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.

Following Admission, the Company will have in issue a total of 218,877,042 Ordinary Shares. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury.
