Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Marion Sears as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 24 April 2024.   

Marion has had an extensive career in the City as an analyst and subsequently in investment banking and international M&A. Over the last 20 years she has served on a number of private and public company boards as a Non-Executive Director. She has acted as a Senior Independent Director and has chaired Remuneration, Nomination and Corporate Responsibility committees during this time, giving her long-standing PLC experience and stakeholder understanding.

Marion is currently a Non-Executive Director at Dunelm Group plc and Keywords Studios plc.  She has previously been a Non-Executive Director of WH Smith plc, Persimmon plc, abrdn New Dawn Investment Trust plc and Fidelity European Trust plc.

On appointment, Marion will also join the Company's Audit and Risk, Management Engagement and Nomination Committees.

In accordance with paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules, it is confirmed that there are no further details to be disclosed in relation to Marion Sears.
