Electrica announces a financing contract through PNRR for the development of the "Satu Mare 2" photovoltaic project

Electrica announces the signing of the first non-reimbursable financing contract under Investment Measure I1 - Supporting investments in new electricity production capacities from renewable wind and solar energy sources, from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), between its subsidiary Sunwind Energy SRL and the Ministry of Energy, as coordinator of reforms and / or investments.

The "Satu-Mare 2" photovoltaic project, with an installed capacity of about 27 MWp, is in the "ready-to-build" phase, is located in the vicinity of Botiz, Satu Mare County and will be connected to the distribution network at a voltage level of 110 kV.

We remind you that the acquisition of Sunwind Energy SRL was completed on 24 March 2023, Electrica informing investors through a current report (BVB-IRIS Code: 361ED, LSE-RNS Code: 2119U), this falling within the strategy of the Electrica Group, by expanding on the electricity value chain, especially in the area of electricity production from renewable sources.

The next steps in this project are to organize the competitive procedure for selecting contractors/ contractors and start the implementation phase of the investment.
