Posting of Annual Report and AGM Update

Wentworth Resources (AIM: WEN), the independent, Tanzania-focused natural gas production company, announces that its Annual Report and Accounts for the financial year ended 31 December 2022 ("Annual Report") has been posted to shareholders and is available on the Company's website www.wentplc.com. 

On 5 December 2022, the boards of Wentworth and Ḗtablissements Maurel & Prom S.A. (M&P) announced that they had reached agreement on the terms of a recommended all cash offer by M&P for the entire issued, and to be issued, share capital of Wentworth (the "Acquisition").  The outcome of the Acquisition is still pending and as such details of Wentworth's 2023 Annual General Meeting ("AGM") will be announced in due course.  It is anticipated that the AGM will be held no later than 15 December 2023.
