Annual General Meeting Statement

At the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held at Noon today, Jan G. Holmstrom, Non-Executive Chairman, will make the following statement:

''The Directors are focused on returning the Group to profitability and the results for the first six months of the financial year are encouraging.  Hemmers-Itex Textil Import Export GmbH ('Hemmers') have made further costs cutting measures in order to align sales volume with overheads and therefore are in a good position to improve in the second half of the financial year. As stated in the 2022 annual accounts, as a post balance sheet event, Stoff-Ideen-KMR GmbH ('KMR') was placed into an insolvency process on 7 October 2022 and that process continues to realise any assets held.''
