Posting of Notice of Annual General Meeting

Empyrean Energy PLC (EME: AIM) announces that its Annual General Meeting ('AGM') will be held at Cenkos Securities, 6.7.8 Tokenhouse Yard, London EC2R 7AS 10.00 a.m. on 27 September 2022.

The Company advises of a delay in the publication of the Company's financial results for the year ended 31 March 2022. As a result, the Company has been unable to publish the Company's 2022 Annual Report together with the Notice of AGM. Given that the Company is required to hold an AGM each year within six months of its financial year end, the Company's 2022 AGM will be held on 27 September 2022, however, it is expected that this meeting will only deal with the resolutions that do not relate to the 2022 Annual Report.

An adjourned AGM will then be reconvened at such date and time as will be notified to shareholders as soon as possible once the Company's 2022 Annual Report is made available.

The Notice of the 2022 AGM will be posted to shareholders today and will be available to download from the Company's website at www.empyreanenergy.com.

Form of Proxy

Shareholders will not receive a form of proxy for the Annual General Meeting in the post. Instead, you will receive instructions to enable you to vote electronically and how to register to do so and may request a hard copy proxy form directly from the registrars, Link Group, 10th Floor, Central Square, 29 Wellington Street, Leeds LS1 4DL (telephone number: 0371 664 0391).
