Result of Requisitioned General Meeting

Ironveld plc announces that all the proposed resolutions by Richard Jennings, director of Align Research Ltd ("Align"), at the requisitioned General Meeting held today were comprehensively rejected.  

A statement from the Board of Ironveld,

"We would like to thank our shareholders for their support in rejecting Richard Jennings' proposals which in the Board's view were vexatious, self-serving and pointless. The Board will be addressing Mr Jennings' conduct in due course but is currently focused on matters more important to the Company.  We are pleased to move past the requisitioned general meeting which in our opinion has achieved nothing except causing a considerable and costly distraction to both the Company and shareholders of Ironveld. As previously announced, the Company has sufficient funding to complete the refurbishment of the FCF smelter facility, with the initial work having already commenced. The Board can now focus entirely on the pathway to production and remains committed to generating long term value for shareholders."
