Update on the RuMa Hotel & Residences

Aseana Properties Limited (LSE: ASPL), a property developer in Malaysia which is listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, provides an update on the sale of remaining residences at The RuMa Hotel & Residences ("RuMa").  On 9 September 2021, Aseana announced that it had entered into a conditional agreement to sell the remaining 58 unsold residences at RuMa in Kuala Lumpur.

The conditions of that agreement have not been met and consequently the agreement has been terminated.  The Company is, therefore, restarting its efforts to identify a potential buyer to realise the sale of those assets in a controlled, orderly and timely manner.
