Update re major shareholder

Kodal Minerals, the mineral exploration and development company focused on lithium and gold assets in West Africa, has been informed that there has been a restructuring of the ownership of Suay Chin International Pte Ltd ('Suay Chin').  Suay Chin is the Company's major shareholder with 14.18% of the issued share capital.

Suay Chin is now indirectly controlled by Zhejiang Kanglongda Special Protection Technology Co., Ltd ("Kanglongda") which is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Kanglongda's previous business focus was in the area of functional labour protection gloves, but it has recently developed a new strategy of investment in the lithium industry. Kanglongda holds a 51% interest in Suay Chin via its 100% ownership of Taian Xinchang Lithium Investment Centre (Limited Partnership). Kodal Minerals looks forward to continuing its strong relationship with Suay Chin as it progresses its Bougouni Lithium Project in West Africa.
