BANK FACILITY

The Board of abrdn China Investment Company Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Company has entered into a £15 million unsecured multicurrency revolving loan facility with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, London Branch ("the Lender") for a two year period.

The facility will be utilised for general working capital purposes and for the acquisition of investments in accordance with the Company's investment policy.

Under the terms of the facility, the Company also has the option to increase the level of the commitment from £15 million to £30 million at any time, subject to the Lender's credit approval.

The facility has yet to be drawn.
