ANNOUNCEMENT

Electrica individual and consolidated preliminary financial statements for 2021

In 2021, Electrica SA recorded a standalone net result (preliminary unaudited) of RON 321.8 million, increasing by 7.8% compared to level of 2021. At consolidated level, the net result of Electrica Group (preliminary unaudited) is a loss of RON 553 million, compared to the profit of RON 338 million registered in the previous year, while the revenues have reached a level of RON 7,179 million, up by 10.4% compared to 2021.

The preliminary unaudited separate financial statements of Electrica SA as at and for the year ended on 31 December 2021, have been prepared in accordance with the Ministry of Public Finance Order no 2844/ 2016 for the approval of the Accounting Regulations in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.

The preliminary unaudited consolidated financial statements of Electrica Group as at and for the year ended on 31 December 2021, have been prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standard ("IFRS"), as adopted by the European Union ("IFRS-EU").
