Societatea Energetica Electrica SA ("Company" or "Electrica") informs the shareholders and investors that, by the Decision no H879/2022 of the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority, the electricity trading License was granted to EFSA - the Company's supply subsidiary. This licence will allow EFSA to register and trade electricity in Hungary, on the wholesale market, including the derivatives market, the operations being performed at EFSA headquarters.

The action is in line with the Electrica Group's strategy, the expansion of operations in the Hungarian market contributing to the achievement of the regional development objective in order to ensure the balance between long-term value creation and profit maximization for shareholders.
