Update in Director Roles and Responsibilities in FBD Holdings plc and FBD Insurance plc

Following recent Independent Non-Executive Director appointments, FBD Holdings plc and FBD Insurance plc are pleased to announce the following changes in director roles, functions and responsibilities with immediate effect. 

Risk Committee

Ms Mary Brennan has been appointed as Chair of the Risk Committee of FBD Holdings plc and Mr Walter Bogaerts will remain as a Member of this Committee.

Mr Bogaerts will remain as Chair of the Risk Committee of FBD Insurance Plc. Ms Brennan has also been appointed as a Member of this Committee.

Audit Committee

Ms Jean Sharp has been appointed as Chair of the Audit Committee of FBD Holdings plc and Ms Mary Brennan will remain as a Member of this Committee. Mr David O'Connor has resigned as a Member of this Committee.

Ms Brennan will remain as Chair of the Audit Committee of FBD Insurance plc. Ms Sharp has also been appointed as Member of this Committee.

Remuneration Committee

Mr Liam Herlihy has been appointed as an additional Member of the Remuneration Committee of FBD Holdings plc and was independent on appointment as Chair of FBD Holdings plc.

Mr Herlihy has been appointed as Chair of the Remuneration Committee of FBD Insurance plc. Mr David O'Connor has been appointed as a Member of this Committee.

Nomination and Governance Committee

Mr David O'Connor has been appointed as Member of the Nomination and Governance Committee of FBD Holdings plc.

Mr O'Connor has been appointed as Chair of the Nomination and Governance Committee of FBD Insurance plc. Mr Liam Herlihy has been appointed as a Member of this Committee.

Senior Independent Director

Mr Richard Pike has been appointed as Senior Independent Director of FBD Holdings plc and FBD Insurance plc.

Company Secretary

Ms Nadine Conlon has been appointed as Company Secretary of FBD Holdings plc and FBD Insurance plc.
