In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11(2) United Utilities Group PLC announces that after nearly nine years on the board, Brian May, independent non-executive director, will not be seeking reappointment at the company's annual general meeting on 23 July 2021. Brian chairs both the audit and the treasury committees and is a member of the remuneration committee. He will be succeeded in these roles by Doug Webb, independent non-executive director, who joined the board on 1 September 2020.
