Simplification of the Grafton Unit

Grafton Group plc today announces that an application has been made to the Financial Conduct Authority and to the London Stock Exchange for an amendment to the description of the Grafton Unit to reflect the share capital simplification which was approved by shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held on 21 January 2021.

This application reflects the surrender and cancellation of the 'A' Ordinary Shares of the Company and the purchase by the Company of the 'C' Ordinary Shares of Grafton Group (UK) plc and the related waiver of rights with the effect that the Grafton Unit will consist only of an Ordinary Share of €0.05 in the Company with effect from 6.00pm on 7 March 2021.
