Update on the Simplifying Group Structure and Reporting of Interim Results
Goldplat plc, the AIM quoted gold producer, with international gold recovery operations located in South Africa and Ghana, wishes to provide an update to the announcement of 19 February 2021 concerning the waiver of pre-emptive rights by minority shareholders of Goldplat Recovery (Pty) Limited ("GPL"). The minority shareholders have provided waivers of their pre-emptive rights and Gold Minerals Resources Limited now has the necessary approval to and will pursue the transfer of its 74% shareholding in GPL to the Company.
In addition, the Company announces that interim results for the period ended 31 December 2020 will be announced at or around the end of the week.
