ContourGlobal Confirms Closing of Previously Announced Acquisition of Contracted Operating Power Plants in the United States and Trinidad and Tobago

ContourGlobal plc ("ContourGlobal") confirms that it has completed today the previously announced acquisition from Western Generation Partners, LLC ("WGP") of a portfolio of natural gas-fired and combined heat and power assets (the "Acquisition"). The Acquisition includes 1,502 MW of generation plants located in the US and Trinidad and Tobago and was acquired for $837 million on a debt free, cash free basis.
