Announcement of transaction in ordinary shares by a Director/PDMR

The Company announces that it was informed on the 22nd January 2021 that Ben Whitley, Finance Director of JD Wetherspoon plc, sold 2100 of the Company's ordinary shares at a price of £12.13 pence per share on 22nd January 2021 on the London Stock Exchange (XLON).

As a result of the transaction, Ben Whitley's holding in the company now comprises 20,692 shares.
