JD Wetherspoon plc, announces that it has been notified that Mr Tim Martin, Chairman, on 1st December 2020 sold 431,500 of the Company's ordinary shares at a price of £11.66 pence per share.

As a result of the transaction, Tim Martin's holding in the company now comprises 32,544,709 shares which is 27.03% of the issued share capital of the Company.
