Practical Completion of West Derby Project

Dukemount Capital Plc ("Dukemount"), the property management and long dated income specialist, is pleased to announce that the Certificate of Practical Completion for the West Derby development project in Liverpool has now been issued to Dukemount.

The West Derby project involved the construction of a purpose-built structure with 17 apartments and 3,200 square feet of commercial space. The West Derby project involved a full development rather than a refurbishment.

Dukemount can also confirm that they are in discussions with a view to making the West Derby development suitable for higher care dependency tenants. This should be of a benefit to Dukemount, as well as the local community. As part of this process, this may necessitate contracting with a new Care Provider who are capable of undertaking this level of higher care provision. Dukemount shall provide further details on this as and when appropriate. 

Dukemount Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Thompson said, "Despite a national lockdown which affected all business sectors, and in particular the costing and supply of building materials for a number of months, the team has managed to get this project completed within 2020. While Covid-19 continues to challenge the business community at large, we are still in ongoing discussions with various third parties, and we hope to be able to update further with a new deal in the near future."
