Grant of Share Options and Notification of Transactions of persons discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMRs")

Begbies Traynor Group plc ("the Group"), announces that the board has today made a Grant of Share Options under the Group's Share Option Scheme 2013 to two persons classified as persons discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMRs"). They are Anthony Spencer the Managing Partner of Eddisons and Richard Roe who is the Senior Partner of Eddisons each of whom have been granted options over 600,000 ordinary 5 pence shares in the Group ("Ordinary Shares") at an option price of 87.56pence. 

The awards will only vest in the event that certain performance hurdles are achieved and, in any event, these may only be exercised after a period of 5 years provided that the individual remains with the Group.  The two performance hurdles which apply independently over 300,000 Ordinary Shares per condition are: compound annual growth rate of at least 6% over RPI in a consecutive 4 year period; and total shareholder return to equal or exceed the median of the combined constituents of the FTSE AIM Financial Services and FTSE AIM Industrial Goods and Services indices over the same period. 

The options detailed above together with other share option awards previously made to selected senior staff, if exercised in full, will represent approximately 1.18% of the Group's issued share capital.
