Transaction in own shares

Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 28 October 2019 it purchased 366,459 of its ordinary shares with a weighted average price of 148.3472 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its US$100 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 14 October 2019.  The highest price paid per share was 149.45 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 147.35 pence. Details of the relevant repurchase transactions are set out below:

Broker: Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 4,775,619 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 152.43271 pence per share.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.  Following the purchase and settlement of these shares, the Company will hold 15,798,200 of its ordinary shares in treasury and will have 1,525,996,570 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
