Transaction in own shares

Arbuthnot Banking Group PLC ("Arbuthnot" or the "Company") announces that on 10 September 2019 it acquired 7,408 Ordinary Non-Voting Shares, representing 4.85 per cent. of that class of share at a price of £11.1277 per Ordinary Non-Voting Share. The shares purchased will be held in treasury.

Following this purchase the total number of Ordinary Non-Voting Shares held in treasury is 11,310 and the total number of Ordinary Non-Voting Shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 141,311. The Company also has 14,889,048 Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding 390,274 shares held as treasury shares).
