Disposal of shares in Anglo American Plc
Tiger Resource Plc is pleased to announce that the Company sold 11,500 Anglo American Plc ("Anglo") shares on 1 July 2019 realising net proceeds of £258,646.67. The disposal proceeds will be used both as general working capital for the Company and to target new investments in the natural resource sector.
Anglo American plc is a multinational mining company based in Johannesburg, South Africa and London, United Kingdom. It is the world's largest producer of platinum, with around 40% of world output, as well as being a major producer of diamonds, copper, nickel, iron ore and metallurgical and thermal coal. The company has operations in Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, North America and South America.
Tiger received dividend income totaling £8,803.68 from Anglo in the year ended 31 December 2018.
