19 June 2019 Animalcare Group plc (AIM: ANCR), the international animal health business, announces that James Lambert has notified the Board of his intention to step down from the Board, having served as a non-executive director for sixteen years. It has been agreed that he will leave the Board with effect from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 25 June 2019 ("2019 AGM").

Jan Boone, Chairman of Animalcare Group plc, said: "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank James for his significant contribution to the Group and we all wish him the best for the future."

Further to this announcement, the Board intends to withdraw resolution number 9 as set out in the Notice of Annual General Meeting dated 20 May 2019 (the "Notice") relating to James Lambert's re-election as a director.

The remaining resolutions set out in the Notice will be put to shareholders at the 2019 AGM. The withdrawal of resolution 9 does not affect the validity of the proxy form circulated to shareholders in respect of the 2019 AGM or any proxy votes already submitted.

The 2019 AGM will be held at 11:30 (GMT) on Tuesday 25 June 2019 at the offices of Panmure Gordon & Co, One New Change, London EC4M 9AF.
